Thank you very much for today’s hospitality! We had an incredible, unforgettable experience. We were able to hear and admire the rich and precious Szekler dialect and intonation, and we laughed until we cried at the local humour. We are sorry that we only discovered this place today, even though our accommodation is just 200 metres away. We thank the entire staff of K&K Bistro in Gheorgheni for the service, friendly welcome and the attention given to guests — the kind of care that makes people want to return and warmly recommend the restaurant to others. We also praise the chef and cooks: we have only experienced food this delicious and such magnificent, eye-catching presentation here. You honoured us, and we will carry your good reputation far and wide. This restaurant has earned a permanent place in our hearts. Hunor (I believe that is the name of one of the waiters), you did an outstanding job! Special thanks for letting one member of our group celebrate their 15th birthday with a candle-lit Marlenka cake, offered by the house. This evening was the highlight of our stay and a dignified ending to our trip. In our eyes, this restaurant deserves the highest rating: three Michelin stars. This is our way of expressing our greatest appreciation for an exceptional cuisine that is worth a gastronomic journey. K&K Bistro is for those who are not simply looking to fill up, but who seek an experience and quality. This place has brought modern European bistro culture to the town, where the freshness of ingredients and the aesthetics of presentation are treated as essential. What stands out: the presentation of the food is artistic; every plate looks as if you were in a top restaurant in the capital. The kitchen boldly experiments with textures and distinctive seasonings, which is refreshing after so much standard pizza and schnitzel. The setting: the interior is clean, elegant and exceptionally well designed. This is the place in town where you can confidently take your partner for an anniversary or hold a more serious business meeting, because the atmosphere truly suits the occasion. The drinks selection: the wine list and cocktails deserve special praise; it is clear that they were carefully selected by experts to complement the seasonal menu. For anyone who appreciates precision, clean flavours and refined service, this is the top choice in Gheorgheni.

My companions and I stayed in Gheorgheni for two weeks, and during that time the bistro provided all three of our daily meals. We never ate the same dish twice throughout the two weeks. The food was delicious and varied, and the portions were very generous. The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly kind. The chicken soup was my absolute favourite — greetings to Zsiga from here as well! (Bálint from Budapest).

The only problem I have when I arrive at K&K is that it is hard to choose from so many excellent dishes. There are many rare and special options, everything is delicious, and the portions are large. The staff have been the same for years, which helps create the restaurant’s family-like atmosphere. By far the best restaurant in the area.
